Our Mission
It is the mission of Christian Tabernacle Church to be a congregation seeking to live out the presence and Spirit of God to reach the unsaved and unchurched through holistic ministries as a disciplining community committed to serving Jesus Christ in a Spirit of love Matthew 25:35-39 and excellence as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission Matthew 28:18-20.
Our Vision

It is the vision of Christian Tabernacle Church to glorify God by providing visible evidence of our faith in Him and His grace towards us. In this effort, we aspire to:

  • Minister to the total well-being of the Christian body through holistic ministries,
  • Encourage and equip people to become effective and productive witnesses for Christ.
  • Evangelize to the unsaved by sharing the Gospel of Christ, trust the Holy Spirit to lead us through.

Our Statement of Faith — What We Believe

The Bible to be the inspired written word of God, the infallible rule of faith and practice.

That there is one living and true God, creator of heaven and earth, things visible and invisible, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

In the Deity of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. His sinless life, His vicarious death on the cross for sin, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return and rule of His Kingdom on earth in power and glory.

Salvation to be wholly by grace, through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that all who do so through regeneration by the Holy Spirit experience the new birth and become over-comers through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which enable all believers to live victorious lives.

In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
That God requires of us a total stewardship of our personal selves, our time, our talents (gifts), and our treasure such that we may accomplish His holy work commissioned as entrusted stewards of the church.

That He wants to use us in, and outside the sanctuary to transform lives in areas of our labor, leisure and love such as business, government, family, and among friends to render a total message to the total human condition.

That we are privileged to be co-laborer and partners with God in the redeeming of the human race regardless of cultural, ethnic origin or socio-economic status.

In the Holy Ordinances of the Church, Baptism [by immersion] and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that these two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of Jesus Christ.
