Subject:  CTC: Covid-19 Church Service Cancellation Update

Christian Tabernacle Church Membership and Long Term Visitors,

I greet you in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Christ.  We live in an ever-changing world and are experiencing events unlike any I’ve experienced in my lifetime.  For all of us, the Covid-19 Virus outbreak has forced us into
“A New Normal.”   As children of God, we have faith while the world has fear but our faith does not give us the right, nor the excuse, to be foolish.

As such, I have convened the Joint Board and we have unanimously decided that, effectively immediately, church services and activities occurring at CTC will be cancelled through April 4th.  During the week of April 1st, we will assess and evaluate when it is prudent to re-open.  Our next scheduled worship service is “tentatively” set for April 5th.  

Please join us on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at (10:00am) in this inaugural streaming worship and praise experience. We are planning to use YouTube to livestream our Sunday services during the temporary shut down.  These livestreams will include just the Pastor, Praise Singers, Musicians, Ministerial Worship leaders and AV. 

There will be one exception that will be allowed for use of the church during this closure period.  In compliance with the health ordinance (10 or less gathering), we will allow praise and worship teams, along with musicians, to rehearse on the Wednesday before the respective Sunday they will be singing.

During this period of change we ask for your cooperation, prayers and continued financial support.  While the DOORS of CTC will temporarily close, the WORK of CTC remains open to spread the Gospel and help those in need.  You can contribute by:
